Joystiq has the lowdown on a new zombie game coming to XBox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network. Tucked away in a corner at a recent press event, Zombie Apocalypse was a big hit with game journalists until electrical problems caused the game to no longer function. Looks like a fun, lighter Left 4 Dead aimed squarely at the casual gaming crowd.

The debate for Pulse: Zombie Movie Or Not?, received 16 comments and 16 non-repeating votes. With 2 votes for and 14 votes against being a Zombie Movie, as far as this site is concerned, Pulse is NOT a Zombie Movie.
Stay tuned for next week’s debate: Frosty the Snowman: Zombie Movie Or Not?
The Plague Of The Zombies (1966)

According to Telegraph.co.uk, Nottingham, England has broken the world record for a zombie walk/ gathering, previously held by Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Nottingham had a hefty 1227 zombies, beating Pittsburgh previous record of 1124. I guess we’ll all just have to go to Pittsburgh next October and win it back! Road trip anybody?
EDIT: November 23- ZRC reader Nix pointed out that the final tally for Pittsburgh this year was 1,341. So according to the It’s Alive Zombie Fest, Pittsburgh should still hold the record. Both of these gatherings were done within a week of eachother and both are claiming the record. I’ve contacted Guinness about official counts on both walks, and hope to hear back from them soon.
This summer we reported on a rumor that the popular Zombies!!! board game will be coming to XBox Live, and today we are happy to say the rumors were true! On a news post on their website, Twilight Creations announced that Zombies!!! will be available in 2009 as a download for XBox Live, Playstation 3, and PCs via the Steam download service, with the possibility of Nintendo DS and Wii versions in the future.

WOW! At this year’s BrickCon (a convention for adult fans of Lego), participants put together an enormous cityscape depicting a zombie apocalypse. This thing goes on and on, seemingly forever. It’s all exquisitely detailed and done with 100% Lego bricks.

Long time ZRC reader, and the Susan Lucci of ZRC Contests, Badhammer sent us this photo of him and his contest winnings from the August Contest (sponsored by ScOttRa). Badhammer has entered pretty much every single contest we have ever had, and he finally won one! Good job Badhammer!
