ThinkGeek has this awesome remote control walking zombie toy. By using a remote (shaped like a brain, of course) you can control the zombie’s movements! It stands a somewhat impressive 8 inches tall and also groans as it walks. They’re currently out of stock but will reportedly have more within 1-3 weeks.

Just a reminder - The Zombie: Simon Garth TP came out this last week from MAX/Marvel. It’s the sequel to their earlier series The Zombie, based off the the old Marvel magazine Tales of the Zombie, and is available for $13.99. Amazon has it listed as coming out on July 2, but I have personally seen this in the store for sale, so it is out now.

Need some help to look good at your next zombie walk? Perhaps you should take a virtual trip over to Gorify.com. Started by special effects makeup artist Teresa Fahs, the website sells a custom line of zombie makeup kits and has tutorials on its use. The makeup looks gory (especially the “zombie pus”) and the tutorials make it look like easy enough for even me to do. Word is they’ll be hitting up the convention circuit this summer so be sure to check them out!
