28 Months Later?

Although a sequel to 28 Weeks Later was hinted at in the last scenes of the movie, news about the actual production of the film has been scarce. Now, producer Danny Boyle’s schedule is reportedly clear and he is actively in discussion with studio execs about the film. In a recent interview with MTV he revealed some details:

“There’s a bit of discussion going on about it at the moment… I have an idea for it [but] I’ve got to present it and see what people think really because it might be silly really.”

Sillier than a helicopter mowing down a ravenous zombie mob? If so count me in.

World Zombie Day 2008: A Message From Ann Arbor Zombie Walk

We received this message today from Bambi Braun, the coordinator of the Ann Arbor Zombie Walk, concerning the upcoming zombie walk in coordination with World Zombie Day:

On 10/26/2008 there will be another Ann Arbor Zombie Walk. In Participation with Pittsburgh, PA. Ann Arbor will be having a Zombie Walk and Food Drive. This is to help celebrate the 40th anniversary of Night of the Living Dead and to celebrate World Zombie Day. There are 50 cities all over the world participating in this event and because of this we may get a chance to be entered into the Guinness World Book Of Records. The Walk is still FREE, but people are asked to bring non-perishable food donations to the walk. All donations will be given to Ann Arbor’s food bank Food Gathers. They will have a truck parked at the event for donations, so please come out and donate food to help the hungry even if your not going to participate in the walk. The meeting place will be in the same location as last year on S. University St. By Cafe Royal. People need to show up before walk starts to sign in for the walk and to drop off food donations. Walk will hopefully start around 6pm. All names signed in will be mailed to Pittsburgh, PA. so they can submit the complete international total for the zombie walks held that day. There will hopefully be some prizes to give out at the walk for best zombie outfits, and most food donated. I am working on those. Fliers will be done asap. If you are interested, or have any questions or comments please contact me at either spiderbite79@hotmail.com or at http://www.myspace.com/zombiewalka2.
