Just a reminder - The Zombie: Simon Garth TP came out this last week from MAX/Marvel. It’s the sequel to their earlier series The Zombie, based off the the old Marvel magazine Tales of the Zombie, and is available for $13.99. Amazon has it listed as coming out on July 2, but I have personally seen this in the store for sale, so it is out now.

The awesomely epic zombie comic The Walking Dead now has it’s own site! Read about it’s creators, look at all the covers while getting the original descriptions of that issue’s story, and read a great overview of the cast.

WARNING!!! If you are not currently up to date on the story (through issue #49)…there will be spoilers!!!

Just announced at the Wizard World Philly comic convention today, by Marvel Editor-In-Chief Joe Quesada, is the return of the superhero zombies for Marvel Zombies 3. Read a brand new interview with it’s writer Fred Van Lente over at Wizard Universe. He’s quoted as saying “Marvel Zombies 3 is the Marvel Zombies invading the Marvel Universe”. Well, we’ll see how this goes. What do you think? Has there been enough already of the Marvel zombies, or do you really want more?

The upcoming comic book by Alan Grant , Simon Bisley and Glenn Fabry, simply titled The Dead, has a new site up, with previews of pages (pencils and fully-colored) and cover art. They also have a MySpace up for it. The first issue will be in stores in August, from Berserker Comics. I can’t wait to read this comic!

Super-awesome independent book/ comic publisher Last Gasp is releasing Tokyo Zombie, the manga, in an English language edition for the first time ever! It will be out on September 18, 2008. The collected hardcover edition of Marvel Zombies: Dead Days comes out this month. Marvel’s website has it listed as coming out on April 16th, but Amazon is showing it coming out on April 23rd. At least they agree it’s coming out this month…retail is $29.99, but you can pre-order it on Amazon for $19.79. It collects the whole Marvel Zombie: Dead Days mini-series, and also includes Ultimate Fantastic Four #21-23, 30-32, and Black Panther #28-30.
