Launched in 2006 by Nate Higley and Erik Zempel, the Zombie Reporting Center is an online community dedicated to the latest happenings in the world of the undead.

Erik Zempel is the owner and creator of several websites under his umbrella company International CyberWeb. Erik still remembers the first time he saw the original Night of the Living Dead while home alone as a teen. It left a powerful impression upon him, and to this day he feels that nothing will ever match the sheer horror of that film. A blogger since 1999 (before there was even a term called”blog”), he decided to share his passion for zombie movies with the world and launched this website in 2006.When not keeping the undead at bay, he can usually be found spending time with his lovely wife Erin, playing with his two chihuahuas, or fixing his motorcycle while wishing he was riding it instead. You can contact Erik at erik@zombiereportingcenter.com. |

Nate Higley is an underground comic book artist and freelance illustrator and the other half of the ZRC. He’s had a life-long fanaticism with the undead ever since he saw the original Dawn of the Dead some fifteen years ago. He digs horror soundtracks, especially the music of the Italian prog-rock band Goblin, and is a sucker for a good comic book. He also loves eating Chinese food while watching movies. He lives with a feral cat named Ilsa. You can contact Nate at his website or nate@zombiereportingcenter.com. |

Jef Porkins is the newest addition to the ZRC family. When he’s not writing movie reviews, he’s busy perfecting the art of zombie make-up or rocking out. He didn’t write his own bio, so don’t blame him for using the term “rocking out”. You can contact Jef at jef@zombiereportingcenter.com. |
