Survival of the Dead Blu-Ray/ DVD Released In UK Today
While not even scheduled for limited release in the U.S. until May, George A. Romero’s Survival of the Dead is out on Blu-Ray/ DVD today in the UK. It includes absolutely no special features and a crappy cover, but is none the less available for your home viewing pleasure.

And the sad thing is….even though we know it’s going to suck, we’re still going to watch it. I feel like a battered wife returning home to my drunk husband for another ass whoopin. I’m so ashamed.
I saw it and was pretty disappointed with it. It was better then Diary but that isn’t saying much. I get that same feeling as well, it’s like watching a car wreck or something.
I have to disagree with the other two posts. The movie wasn’t that bad. It ultimately was just a story about two rival families that were unwilling to let the past go and work together. But their views on the zombie situation were both pretty out there. All in all not a bad movie. It was way better than land of the dead in terms of realistic I guess. All I’m waiting for is to actually see a movie that doesn’t show a group of survivors but a military stand point on it like world war z.
