The Walking Dead to Become Television series!
Many people wrote us to alert us to the many news stories floating around out that the seminal zombie comic, The Walking Dead, is precipitously close to getting a TV series! The series is being shopped around to various outlets, and AMC sounds very excited about the idea, even citing the popularity of their Halloween programming as a conducive audience. Writer/Director Frank Darabont (The Green Mile, The Shawshank Redemption) is tied to the project. His experience with both the horror genre and human drama seem like an excellent fit for the series, and with the right talent it has the potential to be a huge hit.

That’s the best news I’ve heard all month. It’s nice to see a project with such depth & development as this moving forward, instead of being shuffled to the bottom of the “you crazy zombie nuts” pile.

I was a massive fan of the walking dead when i was around 17 – 18, I’m 23 now and i only read say the first 40 comics. It was a fantastic read but unfortunately it got cut from the shelves because not many people read it over here. I live in the UK, and hope t will screen over here. Another good zombie series to look up which is from the UK is DEAD SET, 4 episodes it was absolutely brilliant. Look it up!

If one person worked on this site, I could see it simply being abandoned. However, there are several people involved. If they do decide to move on, they’d damn well better leave some kind of notice.
That said, I hope they come back.
Just my luck, I find this awesome site and it seems to have died. Maybe these guys are just really into Zombies and want the site to die so they can come back from the dead! lol
