Coming 2009 – Edges of Darkness

Edges of Darkness Opening Teaser

I was surprised when this popped up in my rss feeds today – Edges of Darkness DVD release date set. , so intrigued, I dug a little deeper. I was able to find the above trailer and the IMDB page, but other than that, not a whole lot on information, which is a shame because the trailer looks awesome! The DVD is also being distributed by Anchor Bay, which is a fairly major deal for what appears to be a low budget zombie flick. Anyone else hear about this one?

Erik, hi there. just wanted to let you know that this movie has already been released here in the UK, so please belive me when i tell you that this film is a complete bag of sh1t. badly acted and scripted, i too saw the trailer (a while back) and hunted it down and bought it in a box set with two other movies, was really looking forward to it and ended up completely disapointed. If you are unfortunate to watch this then please let me know what you thought. paulmorrow01@ntlworld.com

Just saw it two days ago.The effects(the hardest part to get realistic in my opinion)were very promising in the beginning.Unfortunately for us though, the rest was a big pile of confusing crap, with zombies taking a backseat to the drama of the supposed heroes.Between blood drinking(but non vampires)African Americans,a computer hard drive that sprouts killer slimy tentacles,a battling priest cult, and an eight year old Anti-Christ,this flick makes Automaton Transfusion look like an Oscar winner. This film could be used at Guantanamo Bay as a form of torture.Save your money!!!

I’m watching it right now. It is FAR from a bag of sh1t, but I would expect that reply from someone who only watches mainstream movies, and can’t appreciate good film.

I saw this shit eater too. Please don’t waste your time with this garbage. Four intersecting stories, none of which was even a remotely good idea, all sucked ass. If you enjoyed this, you my friend are a grabasstic piece of amphibious shit!

And by the way, if you gave this movie a chance, it obvious shows that you stray from mainstream movies…At least somewhat. So Dana sorry but you are wrong! I’d rather get the swine flu and wretch my guts out, than to watch crap like that ever again. Who actually puts up the money for this kind of crap, or thinks it’s a good idea?!

Oh my dear God …shoot me NOW!!! After seeing this, I’m still sitting here asking myself what the f*@k just happened. This film started off just great..thought I had myself here a nice little Z movie..but then..
All I can do now is trust that my one true real God given purpose in this life is to do everything possible to warn mankind to stay away from this movie. My dog even got up and walked out of the room….
