Left 4 Dead DLC
It’s finally here! Yesterday Valve released the long-awaited downloadable content for Left 4 Dead. I was so excited about this that I played while I should have been working and tending to other important things in my life.
Survival Mode is intense! And the new “Last Stand” lighthouse level is the toughest to withstand of them all. And the fact that your melee attack has to “recharge” in Survival Mode makes it all the more challenging.
If you haven’t gotten online to play this yet, what the hell are you waiting for? It’s the perfect way to whisk away several hours.

Posting has been less frequent due to my new house which Erin and I have been working on every weekend and a few nights a week since January. Once we are able to move in expect posting to increase.
I’ve been posting as I can, but there’s only so much I can do to as I’m maintaining my podcast and keeping myself out of divorce court.

nice, thanks for the info guys. I’ve had to put the game down for quite some time. Can’t wait to get my hands on it this weekend!
It’s ok for a few hours, but there are only so many Zombies you can kill in a particular way before it’s boring – The most fun comes from interacting with other people in the game, especially in VS mode.
And making a sequel already? They are now cashing in on the faults of the original. Rather than fix them, they are making a sequel where you have to PAY for the fixes, as opposed to more DLC! L4D can hardly be called a whole game anyway, it was more of a tech demo than Doom 3 was. And a poor tech demo, at that.
The last kick whilst you are down, is that it’s not actually a Zombie game! They are clearly called infected throughout the game, not Zombies. In fact, this is proven more so by the fact that dead things don’t MUTATE!
i like the game, but it’s not worth harping on about…
