More of Us Will Get to See Dead Set

Although we have no idea when it’s going to be available in the U.S., the British zombie “reality show” Dead Set has had its broadcast rights sold to four territories around the world. According to Variety, it will be aired on Canal Plus and a major free-to-air channel in Spain, SBS in Australia, BBC Entertainment in Africa, and TV400 in Sweden.
It’s great that so many more people will be able to watch this superb zombie TV show. Soon I’ll have to start petitioning Endemol, the makers of Dead Set, to work out a U.S. release!

hey there Corey, does that mean you havn’t had dead set aired overthere yet. wow your missing a great watch. We had it as a series over here in the uk. 40mins each night over 5 days. brilliant concept but also one i’m sure i dreamt about while watching big brother myself. it would also be great to have an american version filmed. Dead set is out on DVD here in the uk, it was released the night of the last episode last october. Anyways let me know if you here of an american version. Thank

for the US version:
i got it, the show surviver or american idle gets the dead set zombie treatment.
:<)
maybe not american idle, if its anything like our uk version then its already a bunch of zombies performing for the camera.
Survivor: Zombies in a Vegan World…
I can’t even begin to say how much I want this show to start airing in the states. Of course.. It’ll probably get the Americanized version and go over the top with special effects while taking away from the acting…. Ahem. Maybe it will be one of the few good conversions as we had seen with REC (.. well at least I enjoyed Quarantine!)
i tried to buy it off itunes and it wouldn’t let me… can’t fool the system i guess
bummer guy’s, makes me wonder what stuff of yours i’m missing over here in the uk.
I managed to see it all on megavideo.com. I just typed in a Google search for “watch dead set online” – you’ll find it. The only thing about megavideo is that they only let you watch 74 minutes, and then you have to either sign-up or wait 54 minutes to keep watching. I waited.
Overall, not the best, but has some cool moments that make it worthwhile.
there is always bit torrent;)

Indeed. I got Dead Set Serious (a fanedit) here in the US and it was great watch. If they ever release the DVD here I will buy it, but until then I have no problem downloading.
I got from amazon.uk and delivered to me in Maryland. Then got a 42 dollar Phillips DVD Player from Walmart and found region free code on net. Had no problem playing it. Great show wish we had TV shows like this in US.
