James Melzer, author of The Zombie Chronicles, wrote to tell us about a contest he’s holding over on his website:
Hey Guys,
I’m James Melzer, author of the podcast novel series The Zombie Chronicles, sponsored by Permuted Press and coming to print in 2009! To celebrate the sale of the novel trilogy to Permuted Press I’m having what I call the SCAR ME 4 LIFE Contest.
Basically, I want to get my first tattoo and I’m giving the fans a chance to design it for me and the winning design gets a very cool Prize Pak including signed books and CD’s and gets their artwork inked on my body – FOREVER!

He’s either brave or stupid, but either way I think it’s a great contest! I’m looking forward to seeing some of the submissions he receives. So if you’re a budding artist, why not send a cool zombie tattoo idea for him?

i hope you get this. as a heavily modified person, i hope you make the trip down from the icy north to rochester, ny and meet with my best friend Dan Ross. Dan is between businesses but if you can hold out until early March I am sure you will be pleased with his work.
