I’m going to try and download the demo, but my computer is pretty out of date. It says its going to take 6.4 days to download. Yeesh!
Whoops, nevermind. I think that 6.4 days is how long I can have the demo for. I guess it will expire when the game itself is released in a weeks time.
Colum – let us know how it is! I’m on a Mac so I can’t play…
Downloaded the Xbox 360 version. It’s all types of fun. The only think i don’t like is the fact that the demo is so short.
I only got to give the single player version a quick go. So far it seems pretty sweet but I’ll give it a better look after work tonight. The whole start of it where I’m in a dark room with just a flashlight beam in a room full of zombies was pretty freaky. The intro movie is cool.
I downloaded this on the 360 this morning and have already played through it twice, it is a great multiplayer game and i was very surprised by the AI as it wasn’t as dumb as i was expecting. Over all a good gameing experience…you have a few weapons to choose from at the start and as you go you can find more ammo and different guns, including the auto-shotgun (my personal favorite). There are also times where you just get bombarded with zombies and the action gets out of control, you really get into it. A definate buy in my oppinion.
erg my puter cant run it :(
another game to add to “wish I had an xbox 360″ list
Heh heh My fiancee and I are forgoing any of the usual christmas gift exchange and just getting an Xbox 360. Left 4 Dead will be a definite purchase. Dead Rising will be another definite purchase. Are there any other zombie games worth checking out for the 360?
Colum – definitely look into Dead Space. It’s a horror/action title where you explore some spaceships that have crew that turned into zombies and monsters.
If you want some zombie games, try Stubbs The Zombie. You are the zombie, it runs on the Halo Engine, it has hilarious Co-op, and is pretty cheap! Also try Cold Fear, it has zombies, you are a Coast Guard guy and you have to figure out why ur team went missing. I found it for $5.99 at GameStop! Enjoy!
