The fact that this ZMON? header is missing the exclamation point that normally resides there really helps put forth the fact that while this IS a zombie movie, it is also a horrible film that had no concern at all for fans of zombie/ horror/ genre films. This movie was made to gross a profit, nothing more, nothing less. And while I do understand that ALL movies are made to (hopefully) profit on some level, but to do so for ONLY that fact is a big FUCK YOU to everyone that watched it. And not just the fans of the original work, but to all people who are just discovering the awesomeness of the horror genre. I know from many discussions with fellow fans that I am not the only one tired of remakes/ "re-imaginings" and sequels with no connection to the older (and as of late, not so old) original films. Have we really ran out of ideas? I hope not.
