Silent Night, Zombie Night to Start Filming

We just got wind of this one thanks to Corey over at the Midnight Podcast (which you should all be listening to!) Production starts next month a new zombie film called Silent Night, Zombie Night. Starring horror movie staple Lew Temple, the movie focuses on a police officer pinned down during a zombie outbreak with his former partner and soon-to-be ex wife.

Thanks for the post guys! Here is a Press Release:

CHRISTMAS HORROR FLIX “ZOMBIE NIGHT” INFECTS

Director Sean Cain helms sophomore effort in December

LOS ANGELES — Velvet Hammer Films and ArsonCuff Entertainment’s gory horror film “Silent Night, Zombie Night,” toplining Lew Temple (“Trailer Park of Terror”), Felissa Rose (“Return to Sleepaway Camp”) and Vernon Wells (“Commando”) has announced principal photography to begin in December.
Cain’s X-mas themed “Zombie Night” has a viral outbreak trapping L.A.P.D. Officer Frank Talbot with his angry former partner and soon to be ex-wife. This tragic love triangle is being fast-tracked for an early 2009 release.
“Zombie Night” represents Cain’s second feature film as a director, following his work on “Naked Beneath the Water” released earlier this year alongside a Fangoria.com giveaway contest.
Not for the faint of heart, “Zombie Night” is being produced by Cain, Mary Hahn and Wes Laurie with cinematography by Jim Wright (“Border Security USA”) and FX by Tom Devlin (“Daredevil”) of 1313FX.
