Fear Itself…With Zombies!

Have you seen the new NBC horror anthology Fear Itself yet? It’s created and produced by Mick Garris, who also helped create the Masters of Horror series (which to me, was a horrible letdown for the most part, aside from Imprint and Cigarette Burns). The latest episode, which you can watch online, is New Year’s Eve, which is supposedly a zombie episode. You can go watch it here, at Hulu.com or here, at NBC.com. I’ll be watching it sometime this weekend and posting my review sometime next week. There better be some damn zombies in it!

I watch Fear Itself every week, mostly because there’s nothing better on and you never know when there’ll be a good one on. So far, the series has been a let down. Last night’s episode was the best so far. It starts out pretty slow plot wise and you kinda just wait and wait for it to pick up which it never really does until the last 2 minutes. The ending, however, was almost worth watching the whole episode. I’ve never seen a zombie movie end like New Year’s Eve did and it was pretty good. All and all, it’s worth the watch if you don’t have anything better to do.
I actually liked it….it’s amazing how well a zombie movie could do if they had some big backing. It was a nice breath of fresh air compared to all the zombie $hit that’s been out lately (Zombie Strippers…….WTF?)
the way it ended i never could have seen that coming. i f’n loved it. she was hot too. it had to be one of the best films ive seen in a while. plus the girl was hot.
Well, sadly I thought it sucked major donkey balls but that’s just me I guess. Yes, it had a nice ending but the rest of it was blah. Like what’s up with all the show the zombie’s face then shake the camera like the cameraman has the palsy. /sigh I guess I might just be over critical when it comes to zombie movies though.
