No question here; my collapsible gardening hoe! The business end has a sharp chopping edge on one side and three claws on the other, is made of a strong rust-resistant steel alloy (important in case I have to run before I can clean it fully), and collapses to half-size for easy carrying in those rare “safe” times. It also has a nice long reach so I don’t have to get too close to the zeds to break through skulls. Any zombie comes at me while I’m in my garden is going to REGRET IT!

I have one beef with that hoe (and I mean the tool, not the hippie). That’s the collapsible shaft - I work with that stuff all the time and they never hold up. After smashing in a few zombie skulls you would surely be on a look out for a crowbar or anything a bit more robust to defend yourself with, don’t you think?
Congratulations on the victory, by the way. I’m actually glad it was a hippie… I mean a girl. The picture wasn’t all that impressive though - you really can’t make out the awesome features on that thing! (And I do mean the tool, once again….) Please post a new picture!

Thanks for all the congrats, and sorry about the so-so picture. I was afraid I’d forget about it so I grabbed hoe and hat and had my son snap it, then sent it right away.
As for the collapsible hoe, I’ve had it 3-4 years and put it to some pretty hard work and it’s never collapsed when I’m using it–although by looking at the color, you can tell that I store it collapsed. So far now I’ll stick by my hoe, but keep a crowbar in my back pocket just in case. Never hurts to be ready!
