New Poster for Diary Of The Dead

Dairy Of The Dead Poster 2

Here’s the new poster for George A. Romero’s Diary Of The Dead. The movie is playing at the Sundance Film Festival and will have a limited release on February 15th. There’s already a sequel in the works, it’s synopsis is no secret to the internet. I’m personally extremely excited to see this film and to here of it’s more than likely sequel.

So that poster is a fake. See the real movie one-sheet, from the Weinstein Company, here.

Pork-Eater: Shit! Your comment got deleted by accident, but to answer your point about the possible DOTD sequel…in the latest issue of Rue Morgue magazine (January 2008, #75), Romero states: As far as the sequel goes, we haven’t “signed” with Artfire (the film’s co-producers -Nate). As part of our original deal when we produced the first film, if there’s a sequel, Artfire will be involved. And goes on to say So on paper, yes, there’s enough money to make a sequel just based on purchases from distribution companies. I mean it’s all up for grabs. I don’t know. I haven’t written it. Theoretically, I’m on strike right now becuase I’m a writer’s guild member. He goes on to talk about how, right now, his idea for a sequel would basically start with the survivors of the first film trying to get to an island for safety…lots and lots of rumors are flying around the internet about the “sequel”.
