Resident Evil DVD includes Preview
Resident Evil: Extinction, the third installment and highest grossing of the Resident Evil movie franchise was released on DVD yesterday, January 1st (not like anyplace was open to buy it). The DVD includes a preview for the all CG animated movie Resident Evil: Degeneration.
While Resident Evil and Resident Evil 2: Apocalypse grossed more than $100 million combined internationally, Resident Evil: Extinction grossed $48 Million in its first 3 weeks alone. In my opinion this is due to the fact that it’s a way better movie than the first two combined. Even though the story line strayed even further from the video game’s, it’s a far better watch with way better zombie action.
Resident Evil: Degeneration will not be a sequel to the current movie, but instead have a brand new story line. It is due for release sometime this year.
