Dead Heist
We’re always on the lookout to make our Zombie Movie Database the best, most complete list it can be. And sometimes that means checking out some really horrible movies. Take for example, this Fangoria review of Dead Heist - a bank heist/zombie movie. It sounds truly terrible, but the reviewer’s snarky tone makes for a fun read:
Any heist story worth its salt features complex—and often delightfully convoluted—strategies that showcase the bandits’ intelligence and ingenuity. Here’s what the Fantastic Four and Action Jackson come up with: Let’s just show up at the bank and start waving guns. Of course, Jackson is a tad more on the ball than his disorganized crime buddies, and so he’s the one who decides he’ll leisurely “case out†the joint the day before. OCEAN’S 11 this movie is not. I’ve seen more preparation go into making Minute Rice.
It’s a safe bet you won’t being seeing an official ZRC review for a movie this bad for some time. But then again, I did get Hard Rock Zombies in the mail from Netflix today…
Wow, this really looks bad…
Believe it or not, DEAD HEIST is a lot of fun.
For the money they spent on it, it’s really not bad.
But, you’ve already made up your mind, so why bother?
