We’ve added a new zombie movie to our ever-growing ZRC Zombie Movie Database - Awaken the Dead. This movie looks to be equal parts thriller, comedy and zombie-slaying action flick and features a killer priest in search of redemption.

I have to admit, upon first glance at the website, this looked like just another low-budget schlock fest, but after watching the trailer and viewing some of the production stills it’s clear there are some solid production values and good direction going on here. The zombies in the trailer actually look frightening, which is already better than I can say for a lot of direct to DVD zombie films.
