Topps recently announced the release of a new zombie-themed set of collectors’ cards called Hollywood Zombies. Much like the old Garbage Pail Kids cards, these cards feature grotesque, yet humorous artwork that should appeal to the kiddies.

These cards pull double duty, not only grossing out but poking fun at pop culture celebrities such as Paris “Hellton”, “Howeird” Stern, and my personal favorite, “Scary-Kate and Trashley” Olson. Look for them soon at your local comic book shop.

Italian director Bruno Mattei passed away yesterday at the age of 75. Most famous for his films Hell of the Living Dead (aka Zombie Creeping Flesh) and Zombie 3.  The Zombie Reporting Center salutes this master of horror who made flesh eating rats and gratutious nudity an art form.

This Saturday, May 26 is the first ever Zombie Walk Coulumbus in Ohio. Check their site for more info on the walk. Also, check out this interview, from their local paper, with the walk cordinator Kurt Chaney:
Even if only a few show up, Chaney said, the walk will go on. Nor is he concerned about the possibility of rain.
“A lot of the best zombie movies are wet ones.”
What a great quote. Send us reports and photos if you go!
