SLC Zombie!
Last Sunday, downtown Salt Lake City was the set for a television pilot called “The Rising”. The location was perfect since “State Street is pretty empty.”
Having just been in SLC last month I can certainly attest to that fact. That place is DEAD on Sundays - not even the resturants and drug stores are open.
man i was in that and it was hella fun the guy u see in that photo is so tight but everyone go and watch the tv show when it comes out i dont know when it will be out but i will tell u when i do.
I was one of the main Zombies in that Pilot and I have no clue what is going on with the show or what network it wil be on. Can someone fill me in?
Why us it named “The Rising?” That is kind of ripping of Brian Keene’s book in that it is named The Rising and that it is about zombies.
Maybe its called ‘The Rising’ because it is based on Brian Keene’s book. Duh.
The show has been put on hiatus because Brian Keene sued the producers of the show over the title of The Rising.Also The Rising and its sequel “City of the Dead” is being made into a movie slated for release in summer 2009.Check out briankeene.com for details.
